Freeloading Globally

It seems a great way to save money and make friends while seeing the world from a local's perspective.

The Website, launched earlier this year, has thus far attracted over 400 members from 52 countries. It was founded Adam Staines of Perth, Australia, an avid traveler who thought a site that would match up other like-minded travelers with a place to stay all over the world was an idea worth putting into practice.

Unlike similar worldwide host organizations, Global Freeloaders costs nothing to join, and you can sign up and be eligible for its benefits immediately through the wonders of the World Wide Web. Once potential guests contact their potential hosts, the host has the opportunity to inquire about references, communicate independently from the site via e-mail and/or phone, or update their availability.

Privacy is important at Global Freeloaders, so all specific details about hosts are kept confidential.  The site provides only general details about potential hosts to its members, such as city of residence and broad descriptions about the location and type of accommodation they can provide. For more information, go have a look at http://www.globalfreeloaders.com.
