Course Description. IST 195 - (4
credits) - PREREQUISITE: IST 195. Presents advanced topics in writing Java
applications and applets using the Java Development Kit. Provides specific
knowledge concerning input and output, multithreading, networking, database
access, remote method invocation, abstract windowing, beans, security,
internationalization, and native methods. Lecture 4 hours.
