May God bless us all.
May our differences of opinion be not a cause for hate, but love.
May we understand the difference between what someone says, and what they truly believe, remembering that we are we are all looking through a glass darkly, and at mere shadows on a cave's wall.
Let us help bring each other to light, believing that there we will see things similarly.
Let us believe that the Image of God is in each person.
If we cannot solve all of America's problems in the next election, may we succeed in changing out attitude towards one another and towards the political process.

May God help us to see and accept joyfully our opportunities and responsibilities as Americans!
