Biographical

Based (sometimes, anyway) in Flagstaff, a city of about 50,000 people in Northern Arizona. The picture above is a view of the San Francisco Peaks, which overlook Flagstaff. [Update: Temporarily doing research in Brussels.]

Raised in California and New Mexico. College: University of Southern California. Graduate School: University of Texas at Austin (PhD in Psychology, specializing in clinical psychology and statistical methods).

I have two careers -- as a psychologist and as a statistician -- and maintain several related websites (see below).
