jsplot is a free interactive drawing and charting tool that runs on Unix and Windows95/NT. It is mostly a vector graphics program but can also import a number of image formats. There is programming interface that allows the creation of symbol libraries and of simple graphical applications. Click here to see a few sample screen shots.

The chart types is can create include xy diagrams, surface diagrams, bar charts, line charts, pie charts, polar diagrams and 2d field plots.

Pictures can be exported in the formats eps, cgm, png (including imagemaps) and wmf, emf (on windows).
