HR II was the second and largest sanctioned on-line toruney in SFB history. It began in July of 1996, and will complete before the end of 1998. So it's not a QUICK way to win a Rated Ace card, but it is a fun tourney.
HR II has been a very successful on-line tournament. With the experience we picked up in the original HR I tourney, we've been able to move along at a pretty good pace. Several of the Round 2 games came down to a judgement, but overall, things have gone well.
I am not going to provide detailed game reports here. (I don't have enough to make them significant.) The important thing is, a lot of people are playing SFB, and everyone is having a good time.
We are now into Round 3, and three of those games were quickly over. The entire bracket for HR II is shown here.

*Crawford and Weiber both withdrew after an inconclusive first round
game. Encoder re-entered due to the spectacular way he lost Round 1.

While Round 3 is not officially over until May 31, I suspect that three of the games will be completed shortly. Look for HR III, with Sandy Hemenway as the tournament director, to begin as soon as Round 3 is over.
