Advanced Improv Tools
  Summary This workshop is designed for improvisors who are looking to expand beyond the basic palette of improv tools to achieve a greater scope when performing improvised stories. These new tools are drawn freely from the physical and visual vocabulary of the cinema to create a fresh and more responsive theatrical vocabulary.
  Syllabus Developing dramatic scene starts.
Recognizing solid scene endings.
Edits and transitions for fluid flow.
Playing story structure conventions.
Sceneographers and special effects.
  Prerequisite Basic improvisation skills
  Classes 2-hour workshop: summary introduction to basic skills.
Half-day workshop: full introduction with group instruction.
Full-day workshop: full introduction wth individual instruction.
Residency: full-length course for mastery of all techniques.
Master class: advanced techniques for experienced improvisors only.
