JDL Computer Systems was founded in January 1995 by three very experienced DP professionals to provide a computer consultancy service for all Commercial Applications.
Our current customer base includes various manufacturing companies and a major Public Sector company.
The majority of the Software that we are currently commissioned to provide is based on PC's and is written in Visual Basic 4 using Access Databases although we have many years experience using RPG2 and COBOL on various Mini/Mainframe computers.
Software is written either at a Customer's site or, if they prefer, at our own offices in Sheffield with visits to the Customer's site as often as is necessary.
We believe our all inclusive hourly rates to be extremely competitive.
Because of the relatively small size of the company, overheads are low and therefore we can keep out contract rates lower than most other Companies providing a similar service. (Obviously our rates are lower for work done on our own premises than they are when we have to travel large distances and work away from home).
