What a neat thrill for me to meet one of my all time favorite TV stars recently, when Jerry Mathers did a guest appearance in Charlotte. He's a bit older, but aren't we all.. I owe this hugely to my wife, Kathy, who saw the ad in the paper that resulted in meeting 'The Beave'.
The Famous Chicken recently paid a visit to our area.. What a great show during the game, and after he signed autographs until the last fan left. I know, I was the last fan.. Thanks, Ted.
As a long time fan of The Wizard of OZ, when I read in the paper that a real Munchkin was in our area, I had to go meet him. I am thankful to Jerry Maren for allowing me a picture with him.
