Sending Images By Email

Many computers nowadays come equipped with digital cameras, digital video cameras or a scanner. We see frequent postings in the Email & Communications Forum on how best to send images or video clips via email.

You need to know how to create and save the images as files suitable for email transmission. Most of the problems associated with this are to do with selecting the right format for the image file so that it is not too large to be sent via email but retains sufficient detail to be viewed successfully.

Then you need to know how to attach the saved files to an email message so that you can send them off, or how to link an email program such as Outlook Express to the camera or scanner's built-in mail features so that you can use it with your Compuserve 2000 mailbox.
