Decode Email - Step 4 - Downloading the Attachment

[Introduction] [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3] [>Step 4<] [Step 5] [Step 6] [Step 7]  [Step 8]

A Windows "File Save As dialog" appears. This dialog allows you to specify where on your hard disk to store the attachment that will be downloaded. The CS2000 software uses a default subdirectory named "download" under the main program directory, e.g., c:\Compuserve 2000 \download, to store downloads. You are free to change the location to another spot on your hard disk. You may also change the file name.

Whether or not you accept the defaults, make note of the file name and subdirectory where the file will be stored on your hard disk! You will need this information later.
