Completed Trojan horse
Since I first published the Trojan Horse on this site, I have had numerous requests from teachers and students for instructions to build the horse. Until now, I have had to refuse each request because I did not have instructions in a format that others could use. This is the first public release of these instructions, so there may be problems. If you have difficulty with these instructions, or if they just don't work, please mail me and let me know.

These instructions were created using a DOS-based program called LDRAW and a Windows-based program called MLCAD. The GIF images and the parts list were generated from MLCAD. The parts list contains the amount, size, color, and LDRAW part number of all the parts that are required to build the horse and its base.

The instructions are divided into submodels that can each be built separately. When all of the submodels are built, they can be assembled into the final complete horse model. (Note: There is no step 13 or 37.)

One final note: the completed model has a ladder and an assortment of minifig warriors. I have not included those in the instructions; however, it should be fairly obvious where the ladder should be attached.
