THE COTTAGE

The house is a 1850 farmworkers middle-of-terrace cottage. It is built of brick, whitewashed at the front, and tiled with slate. Unfortunately the original sash windows have been removed and replaced with double-glazed units. There are two terraces of cottages, which are situated between the junction of two lanes, therefore enabling easy access to the front and back of the terraces.
