HAPFO AP2000
A fine cast iron hand turning lathe with a variable speed motor and a quick acting clamping lever on
the tool rest. A copy attachment can quickly be fitted which includes a travelling steady and twist
and flute facilities.
Although designed for keen hand turners who want short production runs, the lathe is ideal for newcomers to woodturning,
as well as schools, colleges etc.

efficient woodturning lathe and is designed for professional operation.
HAPFO AP5000 MANUAL FEED
This is the economy version of the AP5000 lathe and is the least expensive of the true professional
lathes being of heavy duty cast iron construction with two powerful cutting arms and a travelling
steady. The operator turns the handwheel to move the copy platform along and this the only
difference between this model and the electric feed model described below. Please note that the
KFE twist and flute conversion cannot be fitted to this manual version.
HAPFO AP5000 MOTORISED
The best selling lathe of its type of all time. The ultra reliable electric feed has variable control so you
can slow down for the detailed sections and speed up on the straight pieces. Cast iron construction
means vibration free turning for superb results. The 30 - 60mm travelling steady has self centering
jaws that do not dam age the timber edges. The lathes greatest feature is the 10 minute conversion
to do twist and flute work that is now becoming so popular. Workpieces as small as lace bobbins
and as large as 10" columns can be turned on this superb lathe.
HAPFO AP5000 HYDRO
The latest addition to the range with its hydraulic tracer and cutting action and manufactured
solely for the professional turner wanting the ultimate in precision turning. This lathe also
converts in 10 minutes to twist and flute work and will produce hollow twist work that is so
popular as lamp and plant stands.
HAPFO AP6000
A heavy duty version of the AP5000 and available in various bed lengths, the longest being
3.8metres between centres. Very few businesses have the machinery to produce the
massive turnings possible on this lathe and an investment in the AP6000 could mean a very
lucrative business for you. The KFE twist unit will also fit this machine giving 2.5metres of
twist with the 3.Smetre version.
HAPFO AP7000
A hydraulic version of the AP6000 being extremely powerful and designed for high production
rates of large turnings. The 3.8m version will take the KFE twist and flute conversion. An
ideal machine for the specialist turner of very big work.
HAPFO AP8000
A well established most versatile lathe with a very efficient system for producing all types of
twist and flute work including the twisting of very large pieces. Can also produce big hollow
twists and flat turnings.
HAPFO AP9000
Believed to be the worlds biggest lathe capable of turning and cutting a twist on a 4 metre
length of timber with a diameter up to 450mm (24") or bigger to special order. Leads l00mm
- 2690mm. left and right hand rotation of twists. For massive turnings this is surely the only
machine with the added advantage of all indexing being done automatically. Commercial

WEMA MINIMAT 65
A small components lathe using the latest computerised German technology allowing very quick and
precise setup with pre-programmed operations already installed within the central compute panel.
