HAPFO AP9000

This is the latest copy lathe to be manufactured by HAPFO and it is massive. Believed to be the longest copy lathe in the world that can automatically twist and flute up to 450mm diameter it is a machine that has no equal. The two hydraulic carriages each with a l50mm stroke are very powerful and quickly turn the workpiece to the required size. If twisting or fluting the workpiece it is first rounded and then twisted by entering the lead and number of starts into the control panel. The lathe now takes over automatically indexing as programmed until the work is completed. The milling unit may be added and decorative and hollow twist work is then possible. The 24 pitches from l00mm - 2690mm are available with both left and right hand rotation and the 5.4/8.0HP (4/6kw) spindle motor has an infinitely variable speed between 280-3500rpm with the rotation speed clearly visible.The standard length between centers and the copying length is 3000mm and the maximum workpiece diameter for copy turning is 450mm. Both the diameter and length can he increased at time of order so that special requirements can be catered for.

All HAPFO lathes are hand built in their foundry in Mindeiheiw, Germany. Please note that accessories that need to be fitted after the lathe leaves the factory are sold without guarantee.
