HAPFO AP8000

This is one of the finest machines to date that the German HAPFO company have manufactured in their own cast iron foundry in Mindelheim some 70km from Munich. This semi-automatic hydraulic copy lathe gives economical and precise long, medium and short production runs. Set-up time is very quick and the versatility of design allows you to be both individual and different. Anything from turning spindles, furniture components, candlesticks, square turning and the like from as small as lacce bobbin up to 320mm in diameter - to barley twist and all types of spiral work including hollow twist work that is now becoming so popular. A built in indexing system allows plate, base and rosette decoration and the moveable control panel increases the operators safety by allowing him to have all controls to hand wherever he is working on the bed. A machine so versatile that virtually any design project is possible with the minimum of effort. Everything about the AP8000 is built to make the operating simple, reliable and time saving. user satisfaction is guaranteed too with features like quiet, smooth, vibration free operation thanks to sturdy cast iron construction and the superb engineering precision and balance that is the hallmark of German lathe manufacture.
