HAPFO AP7000

The HAPFO AP7000 is a heavy duty cast iron lathe built to turn large items accurately and quickly. The machine's design allows the operator to set up from job to job very quickly and sanding can be done as the workpiece is turning, so very quick production rates are possible. It has a powerful hydraulic cutting action and on the l500mm version the feed is also hydraulic. One of the lathes most impressive features is that the bed length can be increased to 3800inm so allowing the production of very big columns up to a diameter of 320mm and in this version the lathe uses a powerful electric feed. The 3HP spindle motor has an infinitely variable speed range between 375-2700rpm so that the correct speed may be selected for the appropriate size of timber being used. The control panel is a seperate unit that may be moved to wherever the operator is working on the bed and thus makes the operation of the lathe very convenient and also very much safer. Many options are available including a 511P feed motor for really heavy work, a second hydraulic cutting unit ( copy length reduced to 1100-3650mm resp. and a hydraulic quick action tailstock with a feeding device.

All HAPFO lathes are hand built in their foundry in Mindelheim, Germany. Please note that accessories that need to be fitted and added after the lathe leaves the factory are sold without guarantee.
