RC_World was established in 1994 as an internet newsgroup for respiratory therapists. Joseph Koss, MA, RRT, a respiratory care instructor at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis is the official sponsor of the lists at IUPUI. The forum is made up of health professionals involved in respiratory care from around the world. Respiratory Care Practitioners as well as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, vendors, and others interested in respiratory care are welcome to participate in this professional forum. The forum is maintained and moderated by John Hannigan, MBA.
