The new transducer is based around a Hall effect element, but clever electronic processing of the signal corrects for non-linearities and temperature effects, producing a very accurate analog voltage output directly proportional to the magnetic field present.
Can be easily connected to one of the Group3 controllers (CNA or DNA) to produce an accurate closed loop control magnet system. Using the HPC as the feedback transducer for magnetic field control greatly increases stability and repeatability.
- ACCURACY - . . . . better than 0.05%, . . over field and temperature.
- FIELD RANGE - . . +/- 1 Tesla.

The present transducer is calibrated to produce ±10 V output for a field range of ±1 Tesla, over 10 to 50 °C, but other field ranges and temperatures are possible.
Available as a fixed probe housing for built-in OEM use, or as a probe on the end of a flexible cable. The design can be modified to suit particular requirements of an OEM.
The present circuitry has a bandwidth of 10kHz, but with modifications it is conceptually possible to raise that to a MegaHertz or more.
