There are three entrances to the Queens Botanical Garden:

MAIN GATE - on Main Street The parking meters located in front of the Garden expire at 7pm. The Main Gate will be closed BUT UNLOCKED. You need to lift up the ground latch to enter, and then RE-CLOSE THE GATE BEHIND YOU. Only aquarium society members and their guests will be allowed into the Garden. The distance from the Main Gate to the meeting site is approximately 100 yards.

PARKING LOT - on Blossom Avenue The parking lot entrance is near the corner of College Point Blvd. There is a guard on duty in the booth at the entrance to the parking lot. Stop and inform the guard that you are there for the aquarium society meeting. The distance from the parking lot to the meeting site is several hundred yards. Exercise care when walking the path to the main building since it is not lit all along the route and there are parts that are in need of repair.

SERVICE ENTRANCE - on Dahlia Avenue The service entrance is located near the corner of Main Street. The entrance has a gate which will be closed BUT UNLOCKED. You must exit your car, unlatch the gate, proceed through the gate, and then exit your vehicle to RE-CLOSE THE GATE BEHIND YOU. After you park the vehicle, you will see a door on the right side of the building (the side facing Dahlia Avenue). Mounted on the wall to the left of the doorway is a buzzer. This must be used to summon the security guard stationed in the building to come open the door for you. This service entrance is reserved for members who need to unload articles that cannot be carried from the other two entrances. Parking your vehicle at the service entrance may only be done with the permission of the guard on duty.

The meeting room is wheelchair accessible. Our recommendation for those in wheelchairs is to use the Main Gate on Main Street. That is the only route which does not involve steps or bumps.
