THE VALLEY OF THE SUN

THE GOLF COURSES
Golf at three excellent courses is included in this 54-hole pro-am:
The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain, an enjoyable and testing new course, is set against the vast Sonoran Desert amid mountains, buttes and rolling hills.
The Raven Golf Club at South Mountain combimes Southwestern and Midwestern style golf in a beautiful traditional layout designed by P.G.A. and U.S. Open Champion David Graham. Thousands of mature pine trees, rolling fairways, free-flowing greens and breathtaking mountain views make for an enjoyable golf experience.
TPC Scottsdale, home of the Phoenix Open and scene of Tiger Woods' spectacular hole in one in the 1997 event, offers a testing challenge designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.

TROON NORTH CHALLENGE DAY
We are pleased ot offer an oprtional challenge day at the superb Troon North Golf Club as a new addition to The 1998 Arizona Classic. Troon North Golf Club, one of only eight facilities in North America to earn Golf Digest's Five Star Facility Award, offers two exciting award-winning layouts, both designed by Tom Weiskopf. Set in the mountains, the Courses offer both an exhilerating challenge and spectaculr views of the surrounding city and mountains. The format of the day's event will be 18-holes individual stableford for amateurs and medal for professionals, and will end with a sunset dinner in the clubhouse.
Amateurs - £145, Professionals - £100, Dinner only - £40

ITINERARY
Saturday 28th ~ Competitors arrive late afternoon/early evening and check in to their chosen resort.
Sunday 29th ~ Practice Round 1 will be played at The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain. A Welcome Reception and Briefing will be held in the evening at The Sunburst Resort.
Monday 30th ~Practice Round 2 will be held at The Raven Golf Club at South Mountain.
Tuesday 1st~ Free day - Optional Troon North Challenge Day.
Wednesday 2nd ~ Tournament Round 1 will be held at The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain.
Thursday 3rd ~ Tournament Round 2 will be played at The Raven Golf Club at South Mountain.
Friday 4th ~ The final Tournament Round will be played at TPC Scottsdale.
Saturday 5th ~ Free Day. A Gala Dinner and Prizegiving will be held in the evening at The Sunburst Resort.
Sunday 6th ~ Flights depart for Europe, arriving Monday morning.
