Global Telemedicine and Federal Technologies II is the third in a series of events produced by Advanced Planning Exchange, Inc. (APEX), dedicated to the transfer of federally funded technologies to commercial utilization. Defense Technology Conversions and Dual Use Technologies, held in December, 1993, was a well received primer in the transfer of federally developed technologies. Global Telemedicine and Federal Technologies, held in July, 1996 brought together telemedicine experts from the private and public sectors to discuss collaborative efforts, existing and proposed projects, successful applications of Federal technologies in commercial telemedicine and future requirements of telemedicine technologies. The principals of APEX have over twenty years experience in the meetings and exhibition planning and hospitality industries, working closely with the government, medical, defense and academic communities and private industry.
