Patricia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada in 1981, and her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in 1987 and 1993 respectively, from the University of British Columbia where she is currently an instructor in Sociology. Her published works include "A Resistance to British Cultural Hegemony: Irish Language Activism in West Belfast" in Anthropologica, XXXVI (1994); and "Irish Ethnic Consciousness: an Anthropological View of its Awakening in Northern Ireland", Ottawa, (1987).

b. 25/4/1950 in Toronto, son of William Kachuk and Rose Edith Kachuk
née Foxall; she was b.April 16, 1923 in Smethwick, outside Birmingham, daughter of Frank Small Foxall (born July 2, 1890) and Rose Elizabeth Gill (born August 7, 1897). They met while William was serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. and was stationed at Torquay; they married in Oldbury, Warwickshire, 24/1/1946. After the War William Kachuk returned to Canada and worked as a Clerk in the Post Office, and Rose having joined him worked in an accounting office.
Bruce says he knows little about his paternal grandparents, John and Maria Tkachuk, except that they immigrated to Toronto, Canada from the Ukraine in 1906, and raised three children, Michael, Rose, and William. Michael and William both served in the RCAF during WWII; after the war, Michael went on to become a commercial airline pilot for KLM. The family modified their surname to "Kachuk" after they settled in Canada. John Tkachuk died in 1962, and his wife Maria around 1972. William died in 1974; Michael also some time in the 1970s, and his sister Rose is also deceased. However his mother Rose Kachuk is currently approaching her eightieth birthday.
Bruce is currently Information Resources Co-Ordinator at the FREDA Centre for Research on Violence against Women and Children in Vancouver, B.C., with whose work Patricia is also closely associated.

b. in London 8th March, 1972, and moved with the rest of the family to the U.S.A. in 1978. She graduated MA from UCLA in Spanish in 1998, did post-graduate work in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese there, and taught Spanish at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, CA, where she also coached tennis and basketball; living with her partner, Stephanie Thomas, and their two dogs, Oscar and Rooben, in Burbank, CA.
Juliet and Stephanie have two daughters:

Spanish at The Hotchkiss School. We live on campus in a faculty apartment
in a 10th and 11th grade girls' dormitory!"

b. Helensville New Zealand 8 February 1959. Educ. Ranui Primary School;Westmere Primary School; Torbay Primary School; Punaruki District School;Whanagrei Boys High School; Royal New Zealand Naval Officers Training School; Auckland University of Technology; and Pacific Western University (Bsc).
He alternated between living with his parents and his grandmother until his parents divorced, after which he lived with his father and stepmother until he left school.
He then entered the Royal New Zealand Navy where he underwent officer training and specialized as a Supply Officer. Whilst in the RNZN he served on the following Her Majesty's New Zealand Ship's: Tamaki, Otago, Taranaki, Waikato and Philomel.
After his marriage he resigned his commission and joined the New Zealand Ministry of Transport as a Traffic Policeman, where he taught traffic education and road safety to children and adults.
Upon leaving the Traffic Police, Christopher studied computer programming, business law and accounting at the Auckland University of Technology. He then worked for various New Zealand companies in New Zealand and Hong Kong as a computer programmer and systems analyst, and was the software architect for a software project in Kentucky U.S.A. While in the U.S.A, Christopher studied at the Pacific Western University.
Upon returning to New Zealand he worked as a freelance computer system designer and developer, working primarily in the insurance industry. For a while he was a director of Distributech Ltd, a software development company, specializing in Delphi and Java programming languages. Currently Christopher is the Director of Software for Safer Sleep Ltd., a medical software company. He is also studying law part time at the University of Auckland Law School.

On 9/3/2004 Diana and Sean moved to New Zealand to be near family.Currently they are living in Tangowahine Valley, Northland. Diana is breaking in and training horses and Sean is employed in the security industry.
[AHEBAD] LEANNE LINDA HALLOWES
b. 12/9/1963 in Hellensville, New Zealand. After attending Westmere and Ranui Primary schools, Leanne moved to Whangarei at the age of 10.Finishing school at 15 years old, Leanne went to work at the Racing Stables in Takanini, Auckland.After a short time she moved back up to Whangarei, where she worked at the Whangarei Hospital Laundry, working in almost all positions of the department for 5 years.
Leanne then moved onto working at Bradbury Wilkinson in the Finishing Department, again working in all the positions of this department, then moving onto the Security Department as Receptionist. She worked here for a total of 5 years.
Affco (Meat Works / Slaughterhouse) was the next port of call, employed as Production and Shipping Clerk, but again working in all the positions of the office, then incorporating the position of Inventory Controller, backup cover a the Supervisor of the Stores Department, then moving office to the Freezer Department, where she also covered the Supervisor of the Freezer Department. After 10 years of service with this company, Affco closed down.
After a serious accident falling off a horse, Leanne had to change career, so she trained to be a Real Estate Salesperson.

The marriage took place near Rhinebeck, NY., 1/9/1996. Sharon was Jewish and John converted to Judaism before they were married. In late 1998 Sharon contracted pneumonia and pleurisy. She had appeared to be on the mend when just before Chistmas she suddenly collapsed and died without regaining consciousness.

Matt went out to Australia with Carolyn and worked as a Research Assistant at Melbourne University. They were married on Friday February 23rd. 2001 at Emu Bottom Homestead, Sunbury, Victoria.

Born Perth, Western Australia, 16.12.75. With the rest of the family he moved at age 3 to Canberra, then to Melbourne at age 5. He attended two primary schools in Melbourne, then Loyola College and finally Diamond Valley Secondary College; later he did one year at the College of Technical and Further Education (TAFE). He was creative in many fields - art, poetry, music - and set up his own striking and innovative Website.
On 6th. March 2005 Stephen died in California.

b. 18/11/1979. He went first to St. Swithin's Junior School, then to The Pilgim's School, Winchester, joined the Cathedral Choir and became Head Chorister 1992-93. He then went to Lancing College 1993-98; after a gap year during which he went on a round-the-world singing tour with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, he went to Durham University to read Classics, but left in 2001. He then joined the John Lewis Partnership and is now on their Management Training Scheme.
Toby continues to be musically active and is now singing as a bass with the outstanding London Chamber Choir Chantage.
