Descendants of Abraham BELCHAM
Abraham Belcham was born near Coggeshall, Essex in about 1763
and died in Barking, Essex on February 12, 1827. His son Abraham was married
in Tillingham, Essex on November 5, 1809 and moved to Surfleet, Lincolnshire
in the late 1820's. He farmed there until his death in 1880. Abraham and his
wife Lydia are buried in the church yard at St. Laurence Parish, Surfleet, shown
above. Their descendants still live in the area, while others have moved as far
away as Australia and Canada.
