"When I first heard about the Prevue Assessment from the Superintendent, I must say I was skeptical. I had looked for screening and assessment tools for the last five years or so which would assist us in getting at the heart of the individual and to somewhat predict a candidate's success as an administrator in the District. Until I met you and heard about the Prevue Assessment, I didn't think it was possible.

Following your presentation and the benchmarks we created with our administrator work force, I was convinced that we had a tool that would really tell us about candidates and predict their success. I can also see how the assessment can be used as a training tool as well. When the benchmark groups were given their individual profiles to read and review, they responded very positively, indicated that the assessment was easy to read and understand, and they were not offended in anyway by how it was presented.

It is our hope that the Prevue Assessment will help us hire quality administrators so that the District can cut down on turnover and replacement. The assessment is one of many tools we use, but it certainly has become an important tool in the short time that we have implemented its use.

"I want to thank you for providing the...Prevue Assessment. We had the opportunity to use the Prevue in hiring two English as a Second Language Instructors. We used a team of administrators to establish the job pattern. Four persons were assessed and two of the candidates clearly met the requirements. The Prevue assisted us in selecting individuals who learned quickly, could handle multiple tasks, take initiative and work independently. These attributes are difficult to assess through interviews and from resumes. The result has been above our expectations. Of note, the Prevue assisted us in screening out a candidate who would have had great difficulty with the teaching assignment. The Principals would have hired the person based on past substitute experience.

The Principals were so impressed with the Prevue that they suggested we use it as a tool for team building with all district administrators. The result was dynamic in terms of understanding our key persons motivations, interests and abilities. We will be implementing the Prevue into our hiring and evaluation process for the 1995/96 school year where several new personnel will be hired for our new school.

We are looking forward to the use of the this tool to provide additional dimension in the understanding more about our future educators."
