I had actually wanted a smaller car, as the roads in Kirkwall just are not that wide, but there just aren't that many hire cars in the Orkneys either. So I got to play rich jetsetter, drive a sharp car, stay at Castle Balfour, and eat at the finest chippie in the Northern Islands.
