Railroaders--'rails' as they call themselves, tell a lot of stories. Why? I think there are a number of reasons. They can be instructive and educational. They can be funny and amusing. They can help you catch up an aquantaince with someone you haven't worked with for a while.
But there tends to be a lot of time to tell rail tales and I will try to share some with you.
Some will be true and factual; others will be fiction.
