1) Have a (good) room.  Make reservations.  Stay on good terms with room provider.

2) Arrive early and setup room.  Restore to original condition after meeting.

3) Have a stand-in scheduled for when can't attend.  Select and Train your successor.


4) Greet Guests!
   It's everybody's job but it's YOUR responsibility (or it won't get done).
   Smile!  Find an experienced member to sit with guests and explain things.
   Make sure you give them an opportunity to join.

5) Bring the Bag.

   Have a good bag or on-site storage (if possible).

   Portable lectern.  Gavel.
   Agendas (unless VP-E brings them)
   Outline of meeting / crib sheet for Guests
   Guest book (get email address or mail address so can send notice of next meeting)
   Pens
   Membership applications / Letter to guests / IB Hand out
   Spare word of the day
   Name tags or place cards
   Voting forms/contest ballots
   Pens
   Timing lights/cards and stopwatch
   Back issues of TM Magazine, Yankee Activator and TIPS
   Tape
   Club banner
   Manuals
   National flag


6) Be part of the Executive committe, Chair the Social Committee

7) Special events:
   AV equipment / Video
   Food
