Here below are some of the cards made using the Egyptian stamps I carved on the rubber sheets.  Below are pictures of the actual carvings.
The pink images are carved on thin Speedball rubber sheets, the larger mask of King Tut is done using the "Uncle Walter's" much thicker rubber.
This is a card made using a carved frog and a carved lily pad.  Using a black memories pad the frog was stamped onto shiny paper which I'd previously brayered with Luau Kaleidacolor and left to dry overnight.  Overnight is probably not necessary but I was still thinking about the composition at the time so it seemed like a good moment to stop.

The yellow frame was just cut out of yellow paper, the 3 images having first been stamped in their corners, they were cut out at the same time as the frame.
Here on the right is the frog and three versions of the lily pad, the largest was the one used in the above picture.
This on the left is a photo of the first four frogs I carved, the smallest frog was the first one carved, in fact my first carving ever.
The bottom right image, the block frog, was the next one and when I printed it I liked the image so much I didn't want to carve it any more so I stopped there.
The carving top right was done by stamping the block frog on to rubber and penciling in the image, washing the ink off and carving that, this is why it's the reverse of the block image.
The last one, bottom left, is the same frog but this time on a lilypad, with a water plant in the distance with a dragonfly perched on it - the frog is about to eat the dragonfly!
Here below are the backs of the same carvings, they've been mounted on scrap wood I found in the garage, having first stamped the images on the back of the wood.
Rubber Stamping!
Here is the first card I made using my first stamp ever.
It's a dragonfly on reeds with a boat.  This image is by Gary Roberston - I love it!
This card is done using a silhouette stamp from "S" for Stamps - a UK company that does both mounted and unmounted, this one I mounted myself - it costs half the price if you buy unmounted - that way I can get double the stamps for the same money.
