This archway image is a study done on the computer using Painter 5.5 (a program I got free with a magazine, and boy is it powerful!)
It's been an interesting learning experience, and I hope will result in a rather nice oil later on. Currently I'm involved with a fantasy picture done all in blues. I hope to be able to upload that later on, other work permitting.
This Archway, was inspired by a mock travel brochure from Thomas Cooks. It involved tours of many different planets beginning on the moon and ending on a strange planet with a crumbling archway. My image is nothing like theirs though, but I rather like it. FB
