My Personalized Profession

I speak and I do not doubt in my heart but believe that what I say will happen, and it will be done for me:

You are the Lord who heals me.

He sent forth his word and healed me.

I trust in the Lord with all my heart.
I never rely on what I think I know.

and he will show me the right way.
I never let myself think that I am wiser than I am;
I simply obey the Lord and refuse to do wrong.
If I do, it will be like good medicine,
healing my wounds and easing my pains.

A cheerful heart does good like medicine,
but a broken spirit makes one sick.
(Proverbs 17:22)

Surely he took my infirmities and carried my sorrows,
yet I considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for my transgressions,
he was crushed for my iniquities;
the punishment that brought me peace was upon him,
and by his wounds I am healed.

He took up my infirmities and carried my diseases.

He himself bore my sins in his body on the tree,
so that I might die to sins and live for righteousness:
by his wounds I have been healed.
