Local press media are very strong, very well established, in almost all areas of the UK. But there is significant variation in quality, readership profiles and cost-efficiency - we can provide detailed guidance. Local websites - including those offered by newspapers - can often offer cost-effective visibility.
Increasingly, television is available in 'micro-areas' which can make it surprisingly viable as a local option. Good examples of this are the Anglia, Meridian and Yorkshire areas.
Local radio can be particularly powerful where cost:value analysis is undertaken to identify prime high value slottings. Radio often combines well with posters to maximise localised visibility. We also make selective use of leaflet drops, mailings and other tactical, targeted media to provide support in 'hotspots'.
Our thorough, analytical approach ensures that our clients' local and regional campaigns achieve the objectives set for them.

Clear Channel Outdoor offers new POS targeting package ... Newsquest teams up with PA for local multimedia content ... Ofcom awards six community radio licences ----------------------------------
Affluent shoppers with a predilection for organic food and drink can be effectively targeted through Clear Channel Outdoor's new advertising solution, says the poster contractor.
Through an exclusive contract with Sainsbury's - a leading multiple grocer for organic food with 27% of the market - Clear Channel claims it can put advertisers in touch with target consumers at the point-of-sale by identifying stores with the highest volume of organic sales, allowing advertisers to reach consumers with a high propensity to buy.
Clear Channel says that by using tools such as EPOS transaction analysis, geographic and lifestyle targeting software and its own labelling system across its Point of Sale portfolio, top performing stores can be identified to enable advertisers to more effectively a range of core target audiences, Organic shoppers being one example.
In local press, Newsquest has struck a deal with The Press Association (PA) which will see the publisher's local newspaper websites enriched with a host of multimedia content. The deal encompasses text, photos, video and interactive graphics for use on Newsquest's weekly and daily newspaper sites including www.boltoneveningnews.co.uk, www.dailyecho.co.uk and www.theherald.co.uk. This will include around 25 video clips a week gathered by PA video journalists.
Newsquest will use content from PA to create multimedia news packages around the day's top national news, sport and entertainment stories, along with each newspaper's locally generated words, pictures and video. Titles in Scotland, including the Herald and the Glasgow Evening Times, will additionally get a dedicated Scottish video news service, encompassing up to twenty video stories a week.
