Consultancy
On occasions we work on a consultancy basis - which doesn't necessarily involve media buying.
Consultancy can take a number of forms, and is usually costed on a "per hour" basis. In the last two years we have carried out a number of consultancy projects in the area of media sales, for instance, assisting with the construction of rate cards, sales presentations and the sourcing of contacts.
If required, we can undertake marketing
research to provide reports for market planning purposes, and can even
co-ordinate and contribute to the writing of marketing plans themselves. We can suggest improvements to media strategy, checking out the validity of targeting and the choice of media.

etc. as well as our previous experience, and sometimes interviews with
relevant organisations and individuals.
We have been appointed on a number of occasions to provide an opinion on the market value of media activity, where the client wishes to assess the value of PR activity or 'joint' media expenditure undertaken in conjunction with another advertiser.
Fox Media also handles ad hoc, 'one-off' media campaigns which for some reason need special or separate attention. Where a client or their creative advisers decide that a particular project should be handled in isolation from the main marketing activity, for instance, it can make sense to look for a completely fresh approach.
