The Road Home

Where did I come from?

Where does this road go?

Where did I come from?

Where does this road go?

Will it lead me home?

When will I learn why

I am on this road?

When will I learn why

I’m so far from home

And so all alone

So each day along this I travel

And each night I sleep beneath the stars

As the minutes of my life unravel

Will I go far?

Where must I go now?

What will come my way?

Where must I go now?

What will come my way?

Maybe I should stay

Can you tell my please

Will I make it home?

Can you tell me please

Will I make it home,

Or forever roam?

So each day along this road I travel

And each night I sleep beneath the stars

As the minutes – of my life –

Unravel – right before my eyes

I see – the light!

Where did I come from?

Now I think I know

Where did I come from?

Where we all come from

Where I’m headed now

To a place of love
