FICSA Update No. 5 2002

    FICSA has a new Member with Observer Status

  • We are glad to announce that, following a postal vote that ended on 7 January 2002, the Federation of United Nations Staff Associations of Ecuador (FAPSNUUE) has been admitted into FICSA as a member with observer status.

  • The founding members of FAPSNUUE are the Staff Associations of FAO, PAHO/WHO, UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS, UNESCO, UNICEF and WFP.

  • FICSA now counts 21 members with observer status. They are the Federations of United Nations Staff Associations of Argentina, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cameroon, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, India, Lebanon, Lesotho, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan and Uruguay.
