FICSA Welcomes a New Member
Following a postal vote which yielded a unanimous "yes", the Staff Association of the South East Asia Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO/SEAR) was admitted today into FICSA as a full member.
WHO/SEAR serves 10 States (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand). Its headquarters are in New Delhi. According to the official statistics, it has some 260 staff members at headquarters.
