DEN QUINN is Sales Manager with the Acme Office Equipment Company. At the launch of a revolutionary three dimensional fax machine, the equipment fails and he inadvertantly replicates himself.
Due to a crossed wire NED (his double) has all the opposite qualities to DEN. As a result, in no time at all, NED has charmed JJ (his boss), captivated his children, and is having an affair with both BRENDA (his wife) and GLENDA (his secretary and mistress).
Psychotherapist Dr CLARE FABLE thinks DEN has multiple personalities. DEN, wishing it were that simple, thinks the only hope of regaining his sanity is to dispose of his alter ego. Unfortunately his attempt to fax NED to China backfires - now there are three of them!
Relocating the Dr Jekyll story in the business world of the 1990's, this surreal farcical comedy musical, mixes psychology and technology. The more our anti-hero struggles to prove he is not suffering from 'executive burn out', the more alter egos there are to prove that he is, so that by the curtain call there are twenty of them. John Harvey Jones' Troubleshooter was never like this.
