The camera doesn't lie . . .

The Story

Can we ever be certain that we see the whole picture in any given situation? Could a different viewpoint reveal another truth?

Freelance photographer CHARLIE TATE is commissioned to shoot a portrait of the new "man of the moment". When he arrives at her studio however, she finds that her subject is PETER MACAULAY, and they have met before.

The session reveals far more than they expected. We see how they remember the past, how they handle the present, and how they may experience the future.

Ultimately we learn that it is how you look at something which determines what you see.

The Concept

Set in a photographic studio, which instantaneously becomes a beach, a ski slope, an airport, and many other unlikely locations, in both the past and the future, this contemporary "Sondheimesque" musical is a witty, amusing and provacative look at the interweaving relationships of its five characters.

The Quotes

". . . the slickness and efficiency of Six Degrees Of Separation"

"a real insight into human relationships"
