It is a very simple process to copyright your web page, or any written material you create yourself. Put the following on it somewhere:

This material Copyright © 1996 <your name here>
Sounds simple, huh? Seems you only have to register it with the government before you can carry out a lawsuit. So why register it now? IT IS STILL COPYRIGHTED from the moment you say it is. The case law is firm on this.
