Here is a sample database of several hundred dream symbols which will be available in the upcoming release. They represent only one possible meaning for an element of your dream. Most of the symbol meanings listed here follow the dream theory of Carl G. Jung, who emphasized that no definite universal definitions can be determined. Preferring to call them "dream motifs", Jung said that the therapist could only suggest meanings that have occured to others, to help the dreamer form his or her own connections.
The Dream Symbols Empower Tool, when released, will house a database of over two thousand dream symbols for instant access, plus a Dream Journal, where you can carefully record the different elements of your dream. It will be available at this site in a few more weeks.
The symbols here are listed in alphabetical text files. Choose a letter below for symbols in your dream. Because these symbol meanings have been pulled from the Empower Tool's database, you will occasionally find two symbols with the same meaning given. This is not a mistake. The database contains many synonyms and subgroups that share definitions. Once you have reviewed a text page, press the Back button of your browser to return to this page.
