Edward Epiphone's brief history . . .

Welcome to my personal-musical Website! My name is Edward and I have been around with the music scene doing collaborations and jam sessions that started off way back during my High School years in San Antonio, Texas. "The Refuge" was the first known band that I performed live on several gigs as a rock guitarist. Then moving on to Memphis, Tennessee, I joined a band called "Zebrex" which is mostly blues-based rock music. After going through years of innovative musical experimentations and stage performances, I developed a style of approaching rock music with spontaneity and inner expression, which are evidently manifested in my song compositions. Here in California, I am now more involved into songwriting and studio recordings. I had no idea that one day I would be publishing my own website or a homepage, because I was not aware about the facility of having one and also, I am quite a private person. Until I have known other musicians doing a great sketch on their sites, I went ahead and set this one up.

This website would be best viewed if you have an Internet Explorer V 4.0 and up or Netscape V4.0 and up, with at least an 800x600 resolution screen. You will be able to hear background midi music using these browsers, but I am not certain which pages are coded for specific browsers. Anyway, I would like to acknowledge the courtesy of companies like Gibson and Epiphone Guitars (presently, my favorite brand guitars), and all the people and on-line associates for their photos, images, and information in which I will post at alternate intervals. Currently, the "wallpaper background" graphic at the main-portal page is from artist affiliations with Musicians Friend, Webstrings Co., and Guitar-Art.Net. The "Making Music" image at the modules page is by Carolyn Mayer, and the "Guitar Gently Weeps" graphic at the Top-10 page is by Missy Ohh Betty. I would like to mention the complications about copyright infringements in which I don't know much about the details, but any copying would be at your own risk. If any author or affiliate happens to visit my site and does not find his/her graphic humorous on my page, let me know and I'll gladly delete it.

My concept of this musical homepage, would be mostly about promotion of my song compositions using tracker modules (MOD) in the XM format and MP3s in the Internet, also, my admiration with Epiphone guitars, and of course, about myself as a musician-composer and guitarist. After some time surfing the web, I am picking up new ideas as I move on, in which, I will gladly demonstrate in this website. I am at a stage where I am revising and re-doing some of my old compositions and recordings to be posted again on this site; so, stay tune for song updates. Also, I would like to offer guitar tips and guidance, as currently, this site has downloadable professional guitar tutorial programs. I welcome all imaginative people for any comments or suggestions you can leave on the form below, for the expansion of this site will reflect your response. I look forward for further constructions and renovations as I am always contemplating on new ways to attract web-surfers. I am glad to be part of the roadway and I thank you for visiting my site and hope you come again.
