~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 25 OCTOBER 2004 I got the following notes from SCUBA shops. I received my "Open Water" certification from "Dolphin Dive Center." Ask for Tony, if you want to SCUBA dive, he was my instructor. However, if you want to learn SCUBA the NAUI way, get a hold of Frank at Crescenta-Canada YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd, La Canada Flintridge, CA 91011. Frank has a longer, tougher course; you like? I did enjoy Frank's class, diving around the Anacapa Island, but I much prefer Tony's dive site at Santa Catalina. The Anacapa islands had too much sand and kelp, but not enough reefs to trek about. Catalina, is a world of difference, and it's a lot more fun to dive down there. I think both guys have over 30 years experience as instructors, and they're both very good. Remember, smaller class is better! --Earlwin ----ORIGINAL MESSAGE---- DIVE LORETO BAJA OCT. 23 - 27 (A Loooong Weekend) Join Us for a great dive trip to Baja's (low 80's) warm waters in the Sea of Cortez.
