DAVID F. MELBOURNE, who lives on a remote Scottish island, has been studying dreams for 25 years and is known all over the world for his accurate dream interpretations. Apart from the general public, he has analysed dreams for celebrities and famous authors, all of whom have admitted a high degree of accuracy.
David was the first person to discover the 'trigger mechanism' in sleep, which identifies message-bearing dreams, thus disproving Freud's idea that dreams are the guardian of sleep. He was also the first to establish a link between neurological visions, caused by trauma, and the subconscious. He has written a fantasy novel, and has had about 40 short stories (nearly all inspired by dreams) published by various imprints.
David writes regular dream interpretation columns for The Herald (a Scottish national newspaper), and the British edition of Horoscope magazine. Apart from the book DREAM INTERPRETATION - THE SECRET, THE DREAM ORACLE and YOUR DREAMS AND YOUR STARS, he has other dream books pending publication. David is frequently on radio and television as an expert on dreams, and often referred to in magazines and newspapers.
 In the past, he has been engaged by Virgin net's Live Chat Health Channel, as their dream and sleep therapist, offering advice to those who suffer from dream and sleep related problems - from insomnia, nightmares, sleep paralysis, to slow wave sleep disorders and much more.

DR KEITH HEARNE (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.,) is an internationally known psychologist who conducted the world's first research into 'Lucid' dreaming, for his doctorate at Liverpool University. He also devised and pioneered a method to achieve the first structured communication from a lucid dreamer to the outside world! He invented The Dream Machine.
Dr Hearne is the author of many scientific papers and articles. He is frequently on television, radio and in the press, as an expert on several areas of psychology. He is the author of THE DREAM MACHINE and VISIONS OF THE FUTURE (Aquarian Press) and co-author with David Melbourne of DREAM INTERPRETATION - THE SECRET and THE DREAM ORACLE Several other books are pending publication.
Dr Hearne is also the Principal and senior lecturer of The College of Past Life Regression Studies at Regent's College, London, where he runs courses in Past Life Rediscovery.
In addition, he composes hauntingly enigmatic music, having written a requiem and a musical SHAMBHALAH. Finally, Dr Hearne supervised the BBC's 'Premonition' bureau, linked to the 'OUT OF THIS WORLD' series - hosted by Carol Vorderman.
