The Libyan League for Human Rights
Two years after his abduction at Cairo, the fate of Mr. Mansour Kikhia is still unknown
Today is the second anniversary of the abduction of Mr. Mansour Kikhia
from his hotel at Cairo where he was attending the meetings of the Arab
Organization for Human Rights in his capacity as a member of the board
of Trustee. ..........
Mr Kikhia was abducted at Cairo on Friday, 10 December 1993.....
The Leage has no doubts whatsoever that the underlying purpose of
Mr. Kikhia's abduction was an attempt by the Libyan government to
"settle accounts" since it had never forgiven him for his defection and
the success of his peaceful opposition.............
The Libyan League for Human Rights appeals to the humanitarian
organizations to take systematic and rapid action to save the life of
Mr. Kikhia and put an end to the suffering of his family and children.
