Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras TEL 02 557 4332, FAX 02 516 4446 (Box 557, Newtown, NSW 2042) fetes lesbian and gay life with a month of theater, performances art and photography exhibitions, culminating in a spectacular parade in early march.

Anzac Day, is a solemn holiday honouring fallen members of Australia's armed forces
