Our aim is to provide an accurate training aid for R/C model aircraft flyers, using real transmitters, and being able to set up the model like their own - or like one they fancy but can't afford!
Version 10 of our Simulator is now available in Spanish, as well as the English, American, German and French available earlier.
Also available are extra heli graphics and set-ups, courtesy of Torsten Schönitz, one of our customers.
Fly the many aircraft and helicopter models already programmed, and then design and fly your own prototypes on screen too! Print out data sheets for your latest aeroplane design.
CSM's programmed flight equations are unequalled. Using simple, user-friendly menus, just enter model data in real units and the Simulator will calculate accurately how your aircraft will behave through any flight manoeuvre.
Computer requirements
Suggested minimum. IBM PC compatible with:-
486DX2-66 processor but Pentium 100 recommended
1 MByte RAM
VESA compatible graphics card with 1MB video ram - 4MB recommended
Control requirements
The simulator can be controlled by any R/C transmitter with a DSC (buddy-box) output and PPM mode. The CSM interface is plugged between the DSC output and the parallel (printer) port of your computer.
Some views from Model-net
'One of the best simulators is right there in the UK. It is the CSM one'
'Just got the sim 4 days ago. After some tweeking with the Enforcer zr, I can hover the sim for 30 min. at a time. On the real thing I went from my heli "hovering all over the place" to a steady hover.'
'It looks like the clear winner is the NHP sim because it has decent graphics, excellent flight characteristics and allows the most accurate parameter inputs available to heli pilots. It allows a person to use his or her own transmitter which is very desirable and its price is NOT the most expensive of all the choices (a big plus).'
'The CSM is cheaper, and far easier to set up than any other sim. In my opinion the CSM definitely "flies" better out of the box than others, but that is just my opinion! :-)'
