Los Mogotes Hotel
Two kilometers away from Manuel Antonio
National Parks on a hill side with an astonishing ocean view and
the park's majestic Cathedral Point is Hotel and Villas "Los
Mogotes." Los Mogotes was once the summer residence of folk-rock
singer Jim Croce, who died in 1973. The original house has been
fully remodeled and villas have been added.
Rooms and villas are equipped are equipped with hot water bath,
air conditioning and many have ocean-view balconies. The restaurant,
bar, pool and Jacuzzi also afford a panoramic view of the ocean
and the forested hills below. A new addition to Los Mogotes services,
is a short nature trail through the forest, where it is possible
to see numerous species of birds, butterflies and mammals such
as white-faced capuchin and squirrel monkeys.
