La Mariposa Hotel

Not a hotel in the conventional sense, La Mariposa is comprised of ten charming villas built in harmony with its tropical surroundings and set on a bluff high above the small port town of Quepos. The villas are built on varying thresholds and each of the master bedrooms overlooks its own living room from a romantic balcony. The living room opens onto a deck alive with vibrant flowers, graceful vines and hammocks to relax in. The decks themselves are suspended over a steep slope with the surf and shore just below. The rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, rather than air conditioning. On the hillsides above the Pacific the winds always flow and you will feel Mother Nature surrounding you.
