The Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge is an 18 room lodge for tourists who wish to visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, the Santa Elena rainforest and adjacent areas. It is owned by ecologists and is designed for persons interested in the rainforest ecology, bird watching, natural history and just walking in the forest. It also has a panoramic view of the Nicoya Gulf.

The lodge is located on approximately 80 acres of private Cloud Forest in Monteverde. It is 5 Km from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, 5 Km. from the Santa Elena rainforest and it is within walking distance from the town of Santa Elena.

The 18 rooms that can be used as doubles or triples, are a mixture of wood and lava stone with cathedral ceilings. They have two twin size beds. The bathrooms are private and have hot water showers, toilets, sinks with counter space, and ample space for drying wet clothing and rain gear.
