(Compucutter boring big end casting (two stroke lawnmower engine shown to give example of scale NB job not done like this - no clamps shown in pic, this was a composed shot for camera).

Cam grinding machine (taken with PC camera). A two axis machine, the work is turned by one stepper, and the second motor drives a leadscrew which causes the work to advance towards, or retreat from the grinding wheel. Again construction was based on existing iron castings, the body of this machine was a small pillar drill head (green).
